32 THE MODEL The polypropylene modular channel achieves the wide range of PVC patented modular channels bearing the marking. Developed to meet the requirements of technical specifications involving installation of PP piping, the PratikoXL model is 1 meter long and available only in the 130 series as a shallow type channel (CPB130PP) measuring 100 mm in height and a deep type (CPA130PP) measuring 200 mm. The channel is fitted with reinforcement fins and ribs all along its outer length that ensure high adherence to concrete after installation. Bothmodels are fitted with side and bottomoutlets in different diameters. The channel is designed with a double-bayonet coupling system (see figure on the left) where 2 male elements match 2 female elements in the other component for improved water sealing. Pre-cut slots available every 10 cmhelp identifying the different module lengths that can be obtained (as in figure at positions 1 and 2). Once cut to measure, shorter components are easily assembled. All modular elements of are already fitted with outlets, which enables faster installation when connecting the channels to evacuation systems. Type comes with 2 side outlets in diameter 40 mm (one either side); the deep type has 2 double side outlets in diameter 75 mm F - 80 mmM - 100 mm F - 110 mmM (the largest) and in diameter 40 mm F - 50 mm M (the smallest). Both types are fitted with a bottom outlet in diameter 100 mm F - 110 mm M. is complete with a number of accessories that support all types of projects. The CPB 130 PP shallow type has a single end socket with a 50 mm diameter outlet, and a four-way union with bottom outlet in diameter 90 mmM - 100 mm F - 110 mm M. The four-way union has an M inlet and three F outlets with the same double-bayonet coupling system as the modular channel (see picure on the left). Therefore, the union can be used as a right hand corner (Pic. 1 bottom), left hand corner (Pic. 2), T-coupling (Pic. 3) or cross-coupling (Pic. 4). The CPA 130 PP deep type has a single end socket with outlet in diameter 100 mm M - 110 mm M.
