OUR PLASTIC IS DIFFERENT 6 It is important to precise that the bigger impact on the environment is due to how to dispose the plastic instead of how to produce it. The habit to use more and more plastic for many products, including single use ones, brought to the “plastic pollution” with huge quantities of abandoned waste. For this reason, it is very important to use plastic when it is convenient to and to manage how to recycle it. Our products are long standing and 100% recyclable. REDUCTION IN BUILDING COSTS thanks to both low prices and fast installation; to replace traditional materials with plastic ones also allows to increase works life time. VERY HIGH LIFE TIME high resistance to chemical agents or UV ray and fast application time have positive effects on the final budget. FIRE RESISTANCE One of the main reasons of PVC success is due to its high fire resistance. HYGIENE Plastic pipes are the best solution to move liquids in a safe and hygienic way. LIGHT AND MULTI PURPOSE thus allowing to test innovative products and solutions. 01 02 03 04 05 OUR PLASTIC PRODUCT LIFE TIME THE ADVANTAGES OF LASTING PLASTIC

SYSTEM CHARACTERISTICS 7 Thanks to its wide range of products, First Plast offers drainage systems for any situation where well drain boxes and gully traps are be buried, even in proximity of slopes or irregular soil. All implemented articles have been ideated with the aim of fulfilling any water drainage requirement, i.e. roads, squares, garages, basements and cellars or generally wherever fluids collection is necessary. Thanks to "GUS" universal gasket it is possible to insert different diameters pipes thus obtaining a water-tight seal. The gasket take care of expansions and settlements and allowws pipe fitting up to 40° inclination (+/- 20 for pipe Ø100). AND/OR EXAMPLE OF APPLICATION OF: WELL DRAIN BOX EXTENSION EXTENSION EXTENSION WELL DRAIN BOX WELL DRAIN BOX ADVISABLE: INPUT OF PIPE WITHOUT GASKET AND OUTPUT WITH GASKET TRADITIONAL WELL DRAIN POSSIBILITY OF IRREGULAR SETTING OF BOXES USING THE SYSTEMS WITH GASKET AND STACKING Because of the conic shape of the wells stacking is possible thus reducing 50% of space and the costs of storage and transport. STACKING Because of the conic shape of the boxes stacking is possible thus reducing 90% of space and the costs of stocking and transport. ± 40° ZERO DISCHARGE: : It allows the water flow avoiding stagnation. BLOCKING SYSTEM: It is used with a star screwdriver.

H = 100 mm/h S= 300 m2 V = volume in litres/second to discharge H = intensity of rain in mm/hour S = surface of drainage area in m2 Knowing the intensity of the rain (H) and the surface to be drained (S), the volume of water to be channeled is determined (V) with the formula: V= H x S 3600 V= = 8,33 l/s 100 x 300 3600 m. 30 m. 10 8,33 is the volume of water to be discharged per second EXAMPLE: how to apply the formula for an area of 300 m2 with an average rainfall off 100 mm/h UNDERGROUND PRODUCTS DRAINING CALCULATIONS AND TECHNICS 8 The underground products of First Plast, such as the drain well boxes with grids or covers, gully traps or modular channels, are ideal for drainage of rainwater. The collection of water can be carried out with two systems: for areas (rectangular or square) or linear. DRAINAGE FOR AREA: The drainage system for areas can be suitable in case the water falls into a surface that can be divided into more slopes that decline towards a network of wells or gullies. LINEAR DRAINAGE: The linear drainage system is set up if the area to be drained is made up of a single slope (or double as in the picture on the right) that drives the water into a drainage channel, a functional and aesthetic water collection solution. DRAINAGE FOR AREA LINEAR DRAINAGE The simplicity of using PVC FIRST products allows the creation of drainage networks in any type of rain. If a system of evacuation is chosen for points (with traps, grilles, siphons) or for trenches (grilled channels) it is always indispensable to know exactly the volume of fallen rain water in order to plan adequate canalization. Having obtained the volume of water to be drained, the position of draining point is planned in the intervention area choosing between two possibilities: 1 - the model of grill well is chosen and the quantity of use is calculated 2 - the number of grill wells to be set is decided calculating which model is suited to the volume of water obtained.

If, for example, you just want to set up 3 grills instead of 4you can determine their capacity by the following formula: Referring to norm UNI EN 12056-3 the capacities referring to new pipes have been reduced to take into account the partial obstruction of pipes mainly due to low gradient, and the build up of material on the walls as a consequence of transporting turbid water. Also it is not advisable to use pipes with a diameter less than 100mm for horizontal drainage, especially in the presence of turbid waters or waters transporting waste. picture 3 shows that it’s necessary to set SG40 grill (the smallest grill with a capacity of more than 2,77 1/s)

DETERMINATION OF CAPACITY DETERMINATION OF CAPACITY METHODS USED TO DETERMINE GRILLS AND LIDS CAPACITY The value of the breaking load shown on the tables on pg. 13, concerning grills and lids in PVC Antishock, has been obtained according to the proof method DIN 19580. This method utilizes pressers with different diameters according to the size of lid or grill undergoing pressure on the trial press. INSTALLATION Establish the collection point and/or inspection point along the channel of the pipeline to be installed. considering that the collecting well is not self carrying, no less than 10-15cm of concrete is to be used around the collecting well. Lay a cement bed to prepare the base of the collecting well. Insert the dividers or a bell siphon and apply the grill or the lid. with the correct inclination and the fixed pipes place everything in the channel inserting the pipes in the rings and seal with silicon. Cut out corresponding to the diameter of the tube to be inserted. placing an object (preferably a piece of wood) on the opposite side in order to avoid accidental breakage or damage to the diaphragm. Fill the channel with cement made of fine sand so that all spaces are adequately filled in because the collecting well is not self carrying but becomes so with the adequate positioning of the cement. Finish the fittings keeping the paving some milimetres higher than the cover of the collecting well. in the case of an asphalted area, put some cold asphalt near the collecting well’s edge in order to prevent the boiling bitumen to alter the aesthetic quality of the product. cm. PVC FRAMES, COVERS AND GRIDS THE ADVANTAGES OF PVC PVC is one of the most widely used plastics in the world for its versatility: despite being rigid in its pure state, it can be mixed with plasticizers that make it flexible and mouldable. Its main advantages are: Most PVC products are characterised by a rather long service life. This leads to greater efficiency in the use of natural resources. PVC products also require little maintenance, so there is a saving in both economic and environmental terms. Due to its low carbon content (<40%), PVC is the plastic material with the lowest contribution to CO2 emissions and oil consumption. Some studies on the main PVC applications, demonstrate that in terms of GER (energy consumption) and GWP (heating potential global), the behaviour of PVC can be compared to that of alternative materials and in many cases is even better both in terms of energy consumption and CO2 emissions. • It ensures high performance at an accessible cost; • It is an insulating material; • It is stable; • It is strong and versatile • It is fire resistant; • It is durable; • It is hygienic and recyclable For these reasons, PVC applications have received excellent ratings in terms of environmental performance and sustainability by important research entities and international environmental certification. First Plast has a wide range of PVC GRIDS, COVERS and FRAMES, available in different models. All versions are made of anti-shock PVC to obtain a remarkable elasticity and resistance to impact, frost, chemical and atmospheric agents. In compliance with safety standards, the walking surface is sliproof. Due to their aesthetics and functionality, PVC gratings and covers are suitable for use on all floorings in general. The values of the tensile strength of PVC anti shock grids and covers, are in compliance with the standards EN 124: 2015. This test method uses punches with different diameters depending on the size of the cover or grid subject to pressure. The standard establishes load resistance classes corresponding to levels of force at which cover and grids must withstand for a given time without breaking or failure. The minimum resistance class corresponds to 15 kN (Class A15), the next class to 125 kN (B125), then there is class C250 and so on. For plastic covers and grids, however, it is important to know the value of the load that causes them to break, which should be sufficiently high to allow the product to be used even where significant loads are expected (for instance the passage of motor vehicles in private areas). To determine the Breaking load, the force that is applied by the press and punch, is progressively increased until the product breaks or fails: thus we obtain the Breaking load, which is expressed in kN (kilo Newton). The force of 1 kN corresponds to 100 kg or 1000 Newtons: a cover can therefore be classified A15 (i.e. at the lowest Class of load) but have a Breaking load of 70 kN (i.e. 7000 kg or 7 tonnes) which makes it therefore extremely resistant while not reaching Class B125. EN 124:1995 STANDARD : RESISTANCES OF GRIDS AND COVERS Frames, grids and lids are indicated for electrical systems thanks to their dielectric and self-extinguishing features. Our products are suitable for applications where high load resistance is required. The light grid and lid are ideal in pedestrian areas. 20

GULLY TRAPS - TECHNICAL NOTES First Plast gully traps are the ideal drain for sanitary installations (bathrooms, showers) and wherever water collection is needed by limiting the depth of pipes (terraces). Due to their structure ,they help the permanence of an enough amount of water to prevent the spread of bad odors. For an easy and effective cleaning, the central grille is removable. By inserting a PVC bend at 87°30' into the outlet, it is possible to direct the outlet horizontally. Each gully trap size allows for the connection of different diameters depending on the requirements. Gully traps are available, depending on technical specifications or installation requirements, in different materials (PVC, ABS, Polypropylene) designed specifically for outdoor or indoor application. The improvement of the product and the search for new technical solutions have always been pursued by our Quality Laboratory, which, through regular production control, verifies that gully traps always meet the features set by international standards (drainage capacity is verified according to UNI EN 1253). PLEASE NOTE: ABS gully traps consist of 2 elements: the frame is hooked on the body so that you can rotate the horizontal outlet (where available) as you need. To be 100% waterproof, we do suggest to seal the two parts as follows (please see the attached pictures): - Unhook the 2 parts; - Once you have orienteered the horizontal outlet (if available), put sealing glue on the edge; - Hook the frame on the body. Pictures: Many models of First Plast gully traps have a very interesting feature. The bend socket required to connect the gully trap to the water evacuation system is recessed inside it. This technical detail allows installation even where there is a low base, with little slope of pipes. Put the glue on the body's edge Hook the frame on the body Unhook the frame from the body Lorem ipsum 29

CORNER GULLY TRAP H E C D B T A G The evacuation of rainwater from the downpipe to the underground drainage system can be carried out using different products, placed at the end of the gutter system, such as: drain well boxes, pluvial boxes or corner gully traps. According to the features of your project, it is quick to identify the most suitable product for your needs using the comparison table on the right. MATERIAL: Mineral reinforced polypropylene. FEATURES: The CORNER GULLY TRAP can assure the recover and the evacuation of the pluvial waters from terraces, flat roofs and small surfaces. This product must be linked to the pluvial pipe that crosses the different terraces of a building. The technical characteristics of the corner trapped gully entrain different advantages to the phases of installation offering a simple fixing - the shape of its upper part, a square sized 20x20, corresponds to the size of the most frequently used tiles so to avoid difficult cuts of the ceramic tiles while fixing; - the corner gully trap can be fixed to pipes of different diameters - this item can be used as corner gully trap for flat roofs and small surfaces. In such areas the cover for the insertion of the pluvial box (RQP140 - RTP) can be replaced with the grating GSP140 or with a cover CSP140. COLOUR: Grey. NON RETURN VALVE INSTALLATION: the valve is to be installed directly on waste pipes by putting it into a well in order to ease both inspection and service, respecting flow direction (indicated on the top) by installing the socket upstream. The body of the valve must be horizontal, perpendicular to the flow and with a maximum angle of 2,5 degrees in flow direction. Pipes and fittings to be used for assemblage must company with EU regulation; it is recommanded the exit size not to be smaller than entry one. SERVICE: device inspection must be performed twice a year through the control screw top. Insidevalve cleaning is carried out by removing the top. Idrostop anti-flood valve, available in two versions – gluing or with gasket – are anti-floodingdevices which close automatically when a reflow occurs and allow a normal drainage when thereflow stops. Installation can be made in flowing-back-water drainage systems working with gravity, inside and outside buildings for public, residential, commercial, industrial application. Idrostop valve must be put on the connection between private and public sewage net. 35 The Mark identifies products which conform to product standards according to the European Regulation CPR 305/11, which came into effect on 1/07/2013, and specified harmonised conditions for the distribution of construction products, rescinding the old Directive 89/196/EEC. In this case, the IDROSTOP non-return valves comply with the requirements of the harmonised standard EN13564-1. EN 13564-1 MARK
