Through a very simple change to the downpipe, you can route rainwater into external containers, thereby optimising water reserves for household or garden usages. RAIN COLLECTOR ADAPTABILITY The principle of communicating vessels establishes that a liquid held into two communicating vessels, reaches the same level in both vessels and takes on their shape. While rushing down the downpipe, water is channelled through the rain collector and into an external container (of whatever shape and size). Water can be differently affected by the effects of the principle of communicating vessels depending on rain collector mounting height and container height.
