In the latter case, proceed as follows: 1. Cut a downpipe section (min 3 cm - max 6 cm) 2. Loosen or slide out the pipe-clips near rain collector installation height, move outwards the two pipe sections obtained from cutting the downpipe. 3. Using the pre-cuts, shape the cap to obtain a hole same size as the pipe diameter. 4. Slide on the cap to the upper pipe. 5. Assemble the rain collector onto the lower pipe using the seats specially provided. 6. Realign the downpipes, tighten the pipe-clips previously loosened and add any extra pipe-clips that might be required near the rain collector. Fix the cap (do not glue it to allow for inspection) and screw on the hose fitting. The side hopper head is a supplementary component of the gutter system that is used to channel together several downpipes installed at different roof pitches. This product is particularly suitable for applications where the gutters and the downpipes are positioned at different heights. The side hopper head allows drainage of a remarkable amount of rainwater. It can accept twomax 80 mm. diameter downpipes or bends.
